Great new from the Kent family. For the last 2 seasons Piran Kent has been attending the clubs Rising Stars programme. At the end of last season Piran had represented the club in U11's matches as well as representative games for the Rising Stars. Club coaches forward Piran for the County U10's winter programme, last  week Piran received the letter to confirm he has made the 14 strong county squad.

Redruth Cricket Club would like to send it's congratulations to Piran and his family on this great achievement, especially when you take into account that Piran is only 8 years old and could have 3 full seasons at the age group.

Keep an eye out for Piran at the club this season, where he and a host of many more talented youngsters as young as 3 will be playing cricket.

This winter Redruth youngsters have taken part in the County programme at many age groups. William Harris, Ben Dawson, Georgina Triggs, Connor Bray, Jack Eva, Joe Freeman being unsuccessful this year. We a wait news on Josh Wingfeild and Caleb Rowe, but well done to all the youngsters.....sorry if I forgot anyone.
