DUCHY YOUTH FESTIVAL 2008
SUNDAY JULY 6TH

As part of it’s involvement in youth cricket in the area known as DUCHY, Redruth Cricket Club will again this year host the Under 11’s softball tournament.
 
This is the third year of the festival, which has become a firm favourite with the clubs within this area. Last year saw 12 teams take part with Falmouth CC running out eventual winners, although we like to think that cricket and youth sport are the winners.

As in past years the support of the community traders is important in ensuring the off field activities at Redruth match the on field efforts of the children. Also this is a chance for Redruth CC and the Duchy league to raise some much needed finance. All the work with youth cricket is voluntary and your support in any way will be appreciated. 

Our team of festival organisers may ask for your help with specific items, if you can help it will be most appreciated. If not we understand that there are constraints and financial pressures on local and national business’s, this linked with the ever growing mountain of requests for help, leave companies sometimes needing to say no.

What can we offer you in return. There will be a festival programme and supporting companies will be offered a free half page advert. Alternatively you may wish to place a half page advert for £20 as your support of the festival.  The festival is looking for a major sponsor, for this you get full back page advertising and you will be asked to present the end of festival certificates to all the competing teams.
