Sriram comes to Redruth from the Indian Coments Club of Chennai. He is a spin bowlers who also has been opening the batting for Redruth in pre-season games.

Moriz (Mo) is from the Woodleigh Cricket Club Taranaki, New Zealand. Mo is a batsman and is likely to bat at 3, he says he cant bowl, but Redruth grounds man, Brian Riddle thinks he should  “give it a go….due to his long levers?”  

Off the field Sriram works in administration and hopes to secure a place at university in September. He works hard at his cricket practicing and working on fitness most days.

 Mo has just qualified as an infant school teacher. He will work in the youth service whilst in Cornwall. Mo is living in Porthtowan and has found the beaches and bars to his liking! He has settled into club life with ease.

Other players committing to Redruth this season are past captain and shy boy Nigel Hambly. Phil Bostock, David Guffick, Ben Stevens, Liam Norwell, Martin and Adam Strick, Steve Kevern, Aaron Penberthy, Peter Thomas Jnr. and last years captain Scott James. There is a welcome return also for past captain and quiet boy, David ‘Gabby’ Stevens, who has already nickname Sriram as ‘Murphy’.

There is only one loss this season with Tim Manhire, who has moved to Grampound Road seconds.

Training for first team/elite players is on Wednesdays, 6;15 to dark. Senior and U15's training is on Thursdays, 6.30 to 8.30, led by 'new' level 2 coach Mark Richards. Women's, Under 11's and 13's training is on Mondays, 6.30 to 8. Rising Stars 4-9year olds is Saturday mornings 10 to 11.30.
