Truro 8 A Side Festival

Start Time: 10.15 (for 10:30 start)

There will be six teams competing:
  Falmouth
  Grampound Road
  Redruth
  Rosudgeon
  St Just
  Truro

There will be two pitches with the following matches; Numbers will be drawn on the day.

*This will mean that each team will play at least 3 matches.
Rules:
  8 a side
  6 overs per side
  Minimum of 3 bowlers to be used, if you bowl you cannot bat in the first three.
  ball overs (no extra ball except last over of each innings)
  Wides and no balls = 2 runs and Free Hit
  Free Hit - a player who is awarded a Free Hit can only be Run Out, they can not be Caught / Stumped / Bowled etc
  Batter must retire at 30
  If 7 wickets taken the last batter bats on.
  All overs must be played for bonus points to be gained.

All overs must be bowled
The Winning team is the one who scores the most runs
  3 points - are awarded for a Win
  2 Points – are awarded for a Draw/Tie
  1 Point – is awarded for a Loss
Bonus Points:
  2 Points – are awarded if a team takes all 8 wickets
  2 Points – are awarded if a team scores 100 or more runs
  1 Point – is awarded if a team takes 4 wickets
  1 point – is awarded if a team scores 50 to 99 runs

Please note that there will be only a tuck shop so please bring your own food, alternatively Tescos is just down the road.
