Redruth Senior Presentation Evening

Sixty members attended a meal at Redruth Meadery, before travelling back to the clubhouse at Trewirgie to join other members for the formal presentations of awards to senior players.
President Barrie Prisk welcomed members and guests to the presentation evening and chairman Sarah Stevens got the presentation part of the evening underway, which included overviews of the season from each of the senior captains;
Julian Faull – 4th X1, Matt Richards – 3rd X1, Ben Page – 2nd X1, Martin Strick – 1st X1 and Sarah Stevens – Ladies as well as a comprehensive season breakdown from Peter Bolland – director of cricket.
Awards were presented by President Barrie Prisk and the winners are as follows...
4th TEAM:
Batting award – Chris Pearn (590 runs)
Bowling award – Chris Pearn (17 wickets)
3rd TEAM:
Batting award – Paul Harris (602 runs)
Bowling award – Matt Richards (45 wickets)
2nd TEAM:
Batting award – Ben Page (474 runs)
Bowling award – Rob Norwell (38 wickets)
1st TEAM:
Batting award – Dave Guffick (584 runs)
Bowling award – Neil Ivamy (51 wickets)
Players Player of the Year – Neil Ivamy
Martin Tobin Trophy – Paul Harris
(The Martin Toby Trophy is awarded on a points basis; so many points awarded per run, per wicket, per catch achieved over the season – and applies to players in the four senior teams only)
Team of the Year – Awarded to Redruth 3rd X1 for successfully winning promotion from Division 6 West.

Managers Award – Sam Ellis-Roberts
Best All Rounder – Becky Kennedy
Players Player – Sam Ellis-Roberts
Chairman Sarah Stevens concluded the awards part of the evening by thanking everyone for attending, a disco and informal socialising followed the presentations.
